Another week

I have been here a week. I'm all unpacked finally. I still have to get an Iowa license and register my car though. I've been hoping that I would find a new car before I did all of that though. Work has been interesting to say the least. People here arn't what I expected. It's hard to fit in when you know what needs to be done, but you don't know the system that they use to make it work. I feel like an idiot some days just because I'm not sure what to do. Then I get the people that have been here forever that seem like they have no idea what they are doing. I think I like the smaller station like ATW better, but I hope that I can learn to be happy here.

Here we are

I am officially a resident of Iowa now. Well I guess not really officially yet, I still have to get my driver license next week. Then I can safe offical resident. The move went really well. My car surprised me again and made it down here no problem. I guess I should give the old girl more credit. It's still weird knowing that I don't have to get back onto a plane and head back to WI. Usually right now I would be headed to the airport. Once in a while I forget and think that I should get packed up, then I remember that this is my home. The cats have enjoyed the move as much as I. Harlo has found great joy in playing in the empty boxes. Rj is just happy to have someone else here to cuddle with. I do miss Sugar back in WI though. I hope that the family is taking good care of her. I'm worried that their is gonna be a time when I go back and she won't be there anymore. I don't know how long cats live, but 13 has to be getting pretty old.

Hi there

It has been a very long time since I've written anything. I enjoy writing, just like I enjoy drawing, painting, sculpting, pretty much anything somewhat artistic. The only issue is that I am not good at any of these mediums. I've always been able to get by, but I've never once heard - Hey good job on that, it was really great. I've realized that is okay though. I don't need to impress everyone. I am going to do this because it is something I enjoy doing. Nobody will be forced to read it, but hey if they do, great.
One of the main reasons I've decided to start blogging again is because the big move has come upon me. In 48 hours I will be living in Davenport Iowa. I will finally be able to call our apartment there home. My name has been on the lease for months but I have probably spent a week there total since signing it. I will now be able to see my kitten daily, not just photos sent over picture text. . We did the long distance relationship for a year, I think it is time that we are able to finally be able to come home to each other at night and be able to say good morning each day.
All of my friends here in Wisconsin. I love you and I will miss each and every one of you. I will be back though. I'm never that far away.
So now that I have ranted on about that, I hope to be able to use this blog to keep friends updated and maybe I will find some inspiration in writing again.
